Pixie's Embroidery For The Soul - Embroidery, Custom Sewing, and Screen Printing - was born in Gold Bar, Washington from a need to keep active and positive.

A US Army Veteran, woman owned, and operated business, Elizabeth LaZella started our company in 1989 but closed on 2000 due to breast cancer. A building was built on our property by her husband, who felt that sitting in a chair while going through chemotherapy and radiation for breast cancer was not healthy for Elizabeth. He felt that it would benefit her mind and soul to be busy, but not have to travel far. Chemo and radiation is a tiring event, so traveling to a full-time or part-time workplace was out of the question. The business is now located in Monroe, WA with a warehouse, work space and a showroom.

The Embroidery for the Soul is a constant reminder for Elizabeth to be humble and to keep in mind that there is always a higher power looking over us all.

Adding More Services

Elizabeth has been a sewer for more than 50 years, sewing clothes and items for her home as well as gifts and presents for her family. Embroidery is an extension of the need to create beautiful things on top of all the items she makes. She turned it into a business the year after breast cancer reared its ugly head and have been working it since.

Screen printing is an addition that was added several years ago a six color process. Newly added within the last year has been several services that appeal to customers Laser Heat Transfers on clothing and almost any item you can come up with, Alterations on clothing, Quilting services that include repairs of quilts and custom made quilts, Prototype sewing for entrepreneurs looking to create a brand, Patches for sewing on garments, and other other services a customer may need.

We can sew almost anything from basic clothing to covers for golf clubs. We work with people trying to find an item they can produce and sell and so far have found some very creative individuals making their product come to life. We provide pickup and delivery for most items and make appointments for orders over the phone, email, or in person.

Giving Back to the Community

Our business is also our way of giving back to the Sky Valley community. Whenever we can, we participate in local activities. Our efforts were recognized when we were presented with the Business Spotlight Award by the City of Sultan last July 28, 2016. In December of 2017 we moved to a location with better visibility and bigger accommodations. We are now located in Monroe, WA.
